Solo Exhibition by Giovanna OrlacchioFrom 20 September to 11 October 2025The central theme of the exhibition is nature, interpreted in its many nuances: brilliant, lush, elegant, unpredictable.In both paintings and sculptures, vines, stems, aquatic plants, and vegetal formations become unique subjects, captured in the very moment when the artist’s gaze recognized something magical and unrepeatable in them.Giovanna Orlacchio’s art weaves together present and memory: vibrant colours and contemporary materials evoke the elegance of Palermo’s Art Nouveau. Resins replace glass, metal wires resemble filigree, and iridescent pigments transform matter into a poetic language. The exhibition follows two paths: the genesis of the artwork, documented through sketches and studies, and the plastic translation of the subject, which becomes three-dimensional through clay, paper, or resin.
